Swimmable Beaches Near Terrasol
The beach in front of Terrasol isn’t safe for swimming, but two swimmable spots are just 5–10 min on foot. Both are also easy places to catch boat tours.
Playa El Médano – 10-min walk. Cabo’s main swimming beach, inside the bay so the water stays calm. Bars, restaurants, water sports. Busy and social. From here you can grab water taxis and small boat tours to Lover’s Beach, Pelican Rock, snorkeling, glass-bottom boats, and sunset cruises. Watch the flag warnings and jet ski zones.
Playa Empacadora (El Corsario) – 5-min walk. Blue Flag beach with calm water, lifeguards, and palapas. Way quieter and family-friendly. Short walk to the marina, so it’s easy to jump on sportfishing charters, sunset cruises, and snorkel trips. Best swimming Apr–Dec.
Tip: Medano = scene + activities. Empacadora = chill + calm swim. No taxi needed.
